No text on site + not much content = not accepted for ads
I.e Google won't let me place ads on the site because there is not much content and it won't accept swfs/games as content .

Haha, you forgot fatal's BB tool  I think you have all blocks and smileys graphics, so there's no problem. Video - great idea. Also it should replace EE's promo video, it's still here I guess... Meredith did you say campaign? I could make a banner or something for bb I could too. |

I cannot generate $24 from ads on a site with no game we cannot generate anything from a site with no game. So we will have to wait until we can get the money before I can devise a way to get monies.

I have a ProBoards website and you can't code yourself (unless its been updated and I haven't found out)
So I don't think you can do that...
[Edit 1:] I think you could replace the 'Click here for the game' for a ad.

I can code the forum to some extent for example I removed the ads that were placed on here by boards.net however I cannot place ads on this becuase Google won't accept the domain.
